2015 was such an excellent year for us all. HBITF had been extremely active in the community involving workshops, demonstrations, gradings, championships, continuing to expand in various schools and developing relationships with more and more in the Hawkes Bay community. I am proud to say that the members of HBITF have undertaken leadership tasks/roles way above what was expected of them at their current level. It was great to see more stepping up using their initiative to help improve others.
HBITF shall continue to help and support its current and new members in the 2016 with various great opportunities. I am certain that we shall continue to grow strong with the positive work we are doing.
We are proud to say we have both mainstream and special needs students attending the ITF World Championships in July to Brighton, England representing New Zealand in their respective events. It’s going to be an excellent year full of further achievements and more positive outcomes.
